Last year, after a very successful Kickstarter campaign, PayPal froze our account and took away our funds.
So here we are, running a new campaign to raise the funds for Volumes 2 & 3.
This is a second chance for Kairi, a second chance for us, a second chance to keep the dream alive!
Kairi is a young and cheerful girl with a dream... Becoming the best and most popular Idol ever!
She recently moved to Akihabara in order to achieve this, but she's been rejected by around fifteen different agencies so far.
Already short on money, with some increasing debt, and feeling defeated and frustrated after another failed audition, she meets Ranko, a self-proclaimed "producer" that introduces the innocent Idol wannabe to her most recent and most ambitious project... Lewd Idol Project.
Join Kairi, explore the amazing city of Akihabara, meet and recruit new girls for the project, and help her fulfill her dream in this new Lewd Adventure!

How did PayPal freeze and steal your funds? Why? Is there some where I can read up on this?

Guys why are such good drawings not in a straight game. All the 2D straight game have bad drawings and finally when i find good ones its a lesbian game 😭.

I threw some money at vol 1 a while back. Tbh I haven't played it yet.
Regardless, I ended up backing the project on indiegogo. Paypal is constantly going after other creators and I'm livid about it. It is beyond messed up that a payment processor can decide how we spend our money, as well as arbitrarily steal from creators, and by extension customers.

I was going to contribute to the fundraiser but I lost my job. Didn't get a new one in time.

It's absolutely vile that some crowdfunding companies can just steal people's project funds over some of the most trivial matters. The West has become so crooked now, and this is coming from someone who lives in the West.
It happened to another creator. Eric July is making a superhero comic series that doesn't play into either side of politics, and paypal froze like 1.3 million dollars. Thankfully the guy used multiple processors, but paypal is going way too far.
